North Woodbridge Veterinary Hospital maintains a Personal Information Policy in accordance with the requirements set by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. Collection, use and disclosure of personal information is performed in accordance with the purposes detailed in the Personal Information Policy. Such purposes include:
1) Maintaining complete and accurate files as required by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, The Veterinarians Act and regulations under the Act;
2) Providing goods and services to veterinary clients, which include setting up appointments, conducting follow ups on patient treatments, billing for goods and services and notifying clients about new services; and
3) Communicating with third parties providing veterinary services to clients, including veterinary specialists and insurance companies.
